The vacancy in brief

As a machine builder technician you are responsible for mounting and assembling new machines for weighing and packing agricultural products. Your duties include:

• Reading technical drawings to assemble parts to correct specifications.
• Assembling, adjusting, checking and testing the machines.
• You work closely with the engineers to complete projects in a timely and qualitative manner and to discuss development and improvements.

Job content

• Installing mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Connecting electrical components and pneumatic systems according to electrical diagrams.
• Ensure quality during the assembly process, and work with the engineering team to implement improvements in the design and manufacturing processes.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of machines, and diagnose and troubleshoot problems as necessary.
• Other matters such as; Preparing machines for transport, setting up test setups.

Job requirements

• MBO level 4 in machine building, mechatronics or a related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, components and tools.
• Skill in reading technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Good problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Good understanding of English language.

• Demonstrable experience as a mechanic in machine building or a similar industry
